Mild Steel & Structural Steels
Squares
These are square shaped bars produced in rolling mills with the rolls groove set and maintained in such a manner that the resultant product is square in shape. These are available in various types of steels having differing end uses. These Hot Rolled Bars do not have a very good or smooth surface finish. These are meant for general purpose uses like fabrication, support structures in non critical uses, general machining purposes, etc.
For some applications the bars are required to have a bright, smooth and uniform surface. To achieve this it is cold drawn and the bars are known as Steel Bright Bars or Bright Steel Bars and find extensive use in light machining, fabrication (windows / grilles / gates) and aesthetic applications. Special sizes and non standard sizes in smaller quantities compared to Hot Rolled Bars can also be produced.

Galvanised Sheets - Plain & Corrugated
Galvanised iron or steel is a building material composed of sheets of hot-dip galvanised mild steel, cold-rolled to produce a linear corrugated pattern in them. The corrugations increase the bending strength of the sheet in the direction perpendicular to the corrugations, but not parallel to them. Normally each sheet is manufactured longer in its strong direction.
