Mild Steel & Structural Steels
Squares
These are square shaped bars produced in rolling mills with the rolls groove set and maintained in such a manner that the resultant product is square in shape. These are available in various types of steels having differing end uses. These Hot Rolled Bars do not have a very good or smooth surface finish. These are meant for general purpose uses like fabrication, support structures in non critical uses, general machining purposes, etc.
For some applications the bars are required to have a bright, smooth and uniform surface. To achieve this it is cold drawn and the bars are known as Steel Bright Bars or Bright Steel Bars and find extensive use in light machining, fabrication (windows / grilles / gates) and aesthetic applications. Special sizes and non standard sizes in smaller quantities compared to Hot Rolled Bars can also be produced.

Hot Rolled Coils, Sheets & Skelp
Hot rolled is the basic carbon steel product produced by the steel mill and is applied to applications where surface finish is not critical.Hot Rolled Sheet is used for a wide range of applications, from simple bends to complex draws or structural applications that require a specific strength level. The steel grade and processing technique of the metal are important in order to meet the customer requirements.
