Mild Steel & Structural Steels
Chequered Plate
Chequer plate also called chequered plate is a plate with a regular pattern of projections on one side, showing diamond or other shapes, with the reverse side being smooth. It can be in the form of tear drop mild steel chequered plates, diamond shape mild steel chequered plates, and embossed mild steel plates. This kind plate frequently is made of mild steel or stainless steel. Chequered plate is skid-proof because of the projections. Steel chequered plate enjoys a good wear resistance, slip resistance as well as self-draining surface.

Beams
This is Hot Rolled Steel in H or I shaped. These are also known as I beam or Universal Beam and H Beam or Universal Column. These are basically used as support members in fabrication and erection of steel structures. They are weldable and have good mechanical properties for the intended use.

I - BEAM : It is represented by dimensions of Web & Flange. For e.g. 150x75 beam means,Width of Web = 150mm, Width of Flange = 75mm
H - BEAM : In H-Beam generally the sizes of the Web & Flange are almost equal. When we say, 254 x 254 beam means Web = 254mm & Flange = 254mm.
